In the drawing and painting classes your child will have the opportunity to explore different artistic techniques to expand their tools for creative expression. We offer guided and personal projects. In this course, they will learn:
Drawing
• How to see the proportions of objects, drawing from still life and how to use a pencil to measure.
• How to use geometric shapes to create construction lines to draw anything.
• How to draw faces and bodies with the right proportions. How to make it move and give your characters emotions.
• The basics of perspective.
• How to create dynamic compositions.
• How to make gradients with grey pencil and color to give the illusion of light and shadow.
• How to finalize a drawing with the light tablet and outlines
Paint
• The basis of color theory.
• How to use gouache and watercolor to paint landscapes and characters.
Mixed Media
• How to integrate drawings or paintings with stop motion or a film either based on drawings or paint.
